Blah, blah, blah

Okay. So I have not updated this thing like I should, and this is going to be a completely pointless post, but I'm just going to state some things that have been going on in my life. Mainly because I cant think of anything else to do.

Number 1:
I am really excited/intimidated about our new church plant! Excited because it is really awesome. A wonderful group of believers that I look forward so much to serving with. Intimidated because it's all finally happening and still a little foreign to me. I just get a little nervous when I don't know exactly what's going on, or what exactly is expected of me. But it's going to be great none the less!

Number 2:
I'm dreading paying my taxes. That's that.

Number 3:
I am praying for answers on big life decisions, but they just don't seem to be coming. I know it's God's timing and not mine, I just really need to grow in the patience and faith are.

Number 4:
Me and Becky are going to take up running and pilates together. Maybe boo will join in on the fun. :)

Number 5:
I can't wait for CALIFORNIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!

Number 6:
Did I mention I'm excited? Maybe I did......

Okay see you later!! :)

Vegetarian

I think this is a lame topic to start out my first blog with, but it was requested by Adam. I'm not planning on keeping my posts "themed" in any way. So the next post will most likely not be about me being a vegetarian. But here you go. :)

It's not really been an advertised fact, but people obviously notice, that I've decided to become a vegetarian. My choice has not been influenced by PETA, or any other association, and I'm not doing it because I think its "wrong" to harm animals. I decided to become a vegetarian purely for health reasons. It concerned me that I was consuming meat that was pumped full of not only growth hormones but also lots of antibiotics. I think most everyone already knows about the growth hormones in meat and how that is harmful to us. But most people don't know about all the antibiotics they are given as well. Meat production companies keep their animals extremely close together to be able to produce more meat which in turn, makes them more money. Good for them, bad for us. Because they keep them so close together they all contract diseases very easily, hence the need for all the antibiotics. The bad thing about that is that when we consume so many our bodies do not produce their natural antibodies, making us reliant on artificial ones. Don't get me wrong, I would still eat meat if i knew that I was consuming all organic, grass fed meat. But typically that is not what you are getting. So there you go. :)
